Hibiscus Children’s Center “Seaside Sparkle Gala” Shines Bright for Youth at Hibiscus Children’s Center
Close to 200 guests gathered at the beautiful Moorings Yacht & Country Club for the Hibiscus Children’s Center “Seaside Sparkle Gala”. The evening lived up to its name, radiating not only coastal elegance but also the light of hope—the same light Hibiscus helps restore every day for youth who have endured abuse, neglect, and trauma.
Guests mingled during a lovely cocktail hour while perusing over 100 incredible silent auction items. Following they enjoyed a gourmet dinner and The Street Talk Band had the crowd on their feet, filling the dance floor and setting the tone for a night of joy and purpose.
While the setting sparkled with seaside sophistication, the heart of the evening was the mission behind it. The Gala benefits Hibiscus Village, a 37-bed residential facility for teens ages 12–17. The Village is a safe haven, often the first place youth have ever felt secure. The funds raised help provide stability, professional therapy, and life-changing programs that empower youth to build brighter futures.
One of the highlights of the evening was when Victoria Kane, Assistant Director of Village Operations—affectionately known as “Miss Victoria” by the teens—shared her heartfelt reflections on seeing teen’s lives transformed every day. Her words reminded guests why their support matters so deeply: behind every smile, every success, and every step forward is a community that believes in these children’s potential.
