Guardians for New Futures 4 Kids, Healing Garden Groundbreaking

Guardians for New Futures | Children’s Advocacy Center (GFNF4Kids | CAC), hosted its Children’s Healing Garden Groundbreaking BBQ on Saturday, April 15th at the Children’s Advocacy Center. Guests enjoyed delicious BBQ by Texas Roadhouse and tasty desserts by Smallcakes A Cupcakery of Port St. Lucie.

In recognition of National Child Abuse Prevention month, guests were given tours through the Children’s Advocacy Center, experienced child abuse prevention education sessions, took STOP Child Abuse selfies, and learned about the Children’s Healing Garden that is coming soon. Since opening its doors in July 2022, GFNF4Kids | CAC has served over 500 children.

GFNF4Kids | CAC is planning its next community BBQ for some time in October where attendees are encouraged to bring a guest.
