GRACEWAY VILLAGE RAISES OVER $300,000 AT 3RD ANNUAL CELEBRATION UNDER
THE STARS
FORT PIERCE, FL – GraceWay Village (GWV) raised over $300,000 at its 3rd Annual
Celebration Under the Stars on Friday, February 21, held at the organization’s newly
constructed 40-by-120 GraceWay Village Barn in Fort Pierce.
More than 300 community leaders, donors, sponsors, board members, volunteers, and
advocates gathered for the sold-out event to celebrate and support GraceWay Village’s mission
of serving neighbors facing crisis. Proceeds from the evening will directly support the nonprofit’s
vital programs and its transformational project to construct the first and only shelter designed
specifically for families experiencing homelessness in St. Lucie County.
GraceWay Village currently serves the community by providing free hot meals through its
Café program four nights a week, clothing children ages infant through 18 through its
Clothing Boutique, and hosting basic life skills workshops designed to improve lives and
productivity. These programs remain free for neighbors in need, making events like
Celebration Under the Stars critical to sustaining and expanding services.
This year’s event marked a special milestone as guests gathered for the first time in the
GraceWay Village Barn, a new venue that will host future community gatherings and
fundraising events supporting the organization’s mission.
The evening featured dinner, live and silent auctions, music, and inspiring moments
highlighting the impact of GraceWay Village’s work and the vision for the future family
shelter.
“Celebration Under the Stars is a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community
comes together with compassion and purpose,” said Chrystal Netherton, Chief Executive
Officer of GraceWay Village. “Because of the generosity of our donors, sponsors, and
volunteers, we are one step closer to building a place where families experiencing
homelessness can find stability, dignity, and hope for a brighter future.”
GraceWay Village extends heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors, donors, volunteers, and event
committee members whose support made the evening possible and continues to fuel the
organization’s mission.
