GraceWay Village (GWV) hosted its 12th Annual Butterfly Kisses father-daughter dance on Sunday, Sept. 14 at the historical 500 Orange venue in Fort Pierce, with proceeds benefiting its mission and programs.ย ย

GWVโ€™s mission includes feeding the hungry, providing clothing to those in need, and hosting basic life skills workshops designed to improve lives and productivity. The nonprofit fulfills its mission by providing free, hot meals in its Cafe four nights a week and appropriate clothing, underwear, socks, and shoes in its Clothing Boutique two days a week, in addition to its weekly educational workshops.ย

GWV initiatives are free for all neighbors in need, making fundraisers like the dance crucial to maintaining a community that offers every opportunity for those in crisis to build a foundation for a healthy, independent, and sustainable life.

Guests enjoyed lunch catered by Moonswiners Bar-B-Q, dancing, music by Next Level Entertainment, raffles, a silent auction, and activity stations, including face painting and cookie decorating.

The danceโ€™s gracious sponsors included Bloom Sponsor Dergalis Associates; Golden Sunflower Sponsors St. Lucie Draft House and Calvary Port Saint Lucie; Butterfly Sponsors Fort Pierce Utilities Authority and Integrated Wealth Management Group; Flutter Sponsor Childrenโ€™s Services Council of St. Lucie County; Friends of GraceWay Village Sponsors; Post Insurance and Financial and Hayley Ward, Inc.; and In-Kind Sponsors Lunch Sponsor Moonswiners Bar-B-Q, Catering Sponsor DSK Meal Planning & Catering, and Venue Sponsor 500 Orange Event Center.ย

โ€œThe 12th annual dance is a reminder that every sponsorship, donation, and smile creates a lasting impact for the families of GraceWay Village,โ€ said Chrystal Netherton, GWV chief executive officer. โ€œWe could not do this without our dedicated, compassionate community.โ€
