Fort Pierce, FL – July 31, 2024 – END It ("Everybody's Not Doing It"), a 501(c)(3) youth performing arts organization dedicated to teens, celebrated the grand finale of its 8-week summer program with two remarkable performances of Aladdin Jr. at the McAlpin Fine Arts Center on Friday, July 26th. The 2pm matinee show was a resounding success, selling out with a vibrant audience of summer camp groups and patrons. The 7pm performance was equally impressive, drawing a full house of family, friends, and community supporters.
Featuring a cast of 53 talented young performers, this summer’s rendition of Aladdin Jr. was the culmination of intensive rehearsals and a well-rounded program. From June 3rd to July 26th, participants not only polished their theatrical skills but also benefited from academic classes, preventative education sessions, and enriching field trips. This multifaceted approach aimed to foster both artistic excellence and personal development.
“We are incredibly proud of our talented teens and their dedication throughout this summer’s program,” said Sonia DuPree, Executive Director of END It. “The overwhelming support from our sponsors, patrons, and community members has been crucial in making these performances a success. We are deeply grateful for their generosity and encouragement.”
The performances of Aladdin Jr. not only showcased the skills and creativity of the youth involved but also highlighted the importance of community involvement in nurturing the next generation of artists. As END It looks forward to future endeavors, the organization remains dedicated to providing exceptional opportunities for teens to excel both on stage and beyond.
