Economic Development Council St. Lucie, EXCEL Clay Shoot

Kelly Johnson of R.V. Johnson Insurance and Tom Montano of UES earned the top
shooter awards in the fourth annual EDC EXCEL Clay Shooting Tournament, held at
Quail Creek Sporting Ranch on January 24. UES was the top scoring team.
Eighteen teams competed for bragging rights and prizes during the unusually chilly
morning hours. The title sponsor was UES. Other sponsors included Hi-Tide Boat Lifts,
Dean, Mead, Minton & Moore, Brothers Construction, Ashley Capital, TD Bank,
SouthState Bank, R. V. Johnson Insurance with Auto-Owners Insurance, Enterprise
Fleet Management, Sailfish Brewing Company and UBU Brands.
EDC EXCEL was established by the Economic Development Council of St. Lucie
County to connect the next wave of leaders, decision-makers, business drivers, and
entrepreneurs to leaders in the region, to further cultivate their leadership skills and
career path development and make meaningful business connections.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to underwrite a leadership development
program with Alyson Van Hooser scheduled for September 11.
