A Night at the Races, Fort Pierce Rotary Club

Fort Pierce Rotary Club’s “A Night at the Races” Raises
Nearly $65,000 for Tunnel to Towers and Local
Community Initiatives
FORT PIERCE, FL — April 19, 2026 — The Fort Pierce Rotary Club announced today that its
derby-themed fundraiser, “A Night at the Races,” raised nearly $65,000, benefiting the
Tunnel to Towers Foundation while also supporting Fort Pierce Rotary’s local programs
and initiatives.
Hosted at the beautiful Pelican Yacht Club, the event delivered a high-energy evening of
recorded horse racing, raffles, a silent auction, and a strong community turnout that filled the
room with excitement, friendly competition, and festive Kentucky Derby style.
“This was truly a night we won’t forget,” said Dina McNeil, President, Fort Pierce Rotary Club.
“The community showed up in a big way, our sponsors were incredible, and our Rotary
committee worked tirelessly to make sure every detail was handled. The energy was high from
start to finish—and raising nearly $65,000 for Tunnel to Towers and our local initiatives is
something we’re deeply proud of.”
Presenting Sponsors Lead the Way
The Fort Pierce Rotary Club extends special appreciation to the event’s Presenting Sponsors,
including an Anonymous Friend of Rotary and Gulfstream Title Services, whose generous
support helped make the evening possible and amplified the impact of the fundraiser.
In addition to presenting sponsors, the Club recognized the many businesses and community
partners who contributed sponsorships, auction items, and raffle prizes—creating a robust
evening of giving and engagement.
Organized in Under Four Months
Remarkably, “A Night at the Races” was planned and executed in less than four months,
thanks to the dedication of a volunteer committee of Rotary members who worked quickly and
collaboratively to secure sponsorships, coordinate logistics, and build excitement across the
community.
“Our committee hit this one out of the park,” added AnneMarie Bode, Event Chair/Committee
Lead. “From sponsorship outreach to auction items to the night-of experience, it was a true
team effort—and we’re grateful to every Rotarian and volunteer who stepped up.”
About the Causes
Proceeds from the event will support the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which honors the
sacrifice of first responders and military heroes and helps provide mortgage-free homes to Gold
Star and fallen first responder families, among other programs. Funds will also assist Fort
Pierce Rotary Club in advancing local service projects and community initiatives.
