Gin Blossoms‘ blockbuster 1992 album ‘”New Miserable Experience” spawned four Top 40 hit singles, and established the Arizona quintet as one of the top rock groups of that decade. Their breakout record New Miserable Experience was where their rise to fame began. This album kept the band on the chart for almost 3 years with singles “Hey Jealousy,” “Allison Road,” Until I Fall Away,” “Mrs. Rita,” and “Found Out About You.” The crossover hits on New Miserable Experience played on 4 radio formats and, to date, have sold over 5 million records. Those hits were followed up by “Til I Hear It From You”, “Follow You Down” and “As Long As It Matters”. More than 25 years have passed since the release of New Mis, and now Gin Blossoms are back with their best set of songs in years. “Mixed Reality” demonstrates that the timeless appeal of Gin Blossoms’ music has endured.
Formed in 1994 in Austin, Texas, Fastball combined a fondness for melodic, Beatles-inspired pop with the alternative aesthetic of late-’90s mainstream rock. “All the Pain Money Can Buy” appeared in early 1998, and the lead-off single “The Way” proved to be a meteoric hit, topping the American rock charts for seven weeks while enjoying crossover success as a pop single. In 2019, Fastball returned with The Help Machine. Their new album, The Deep End, was released in 2022.
